I saw ORV today!

I tried to talk myself out of going to the theater this morning.  However, I know I can't next week and wasn't sure it will still be in that theater by week 3.  It's a small 49 capacity theater with god awful seats--for me anyways.  There were maybe 12 people.  Everyone was quiet, none of the usual talking, coughing etc.  Fun fact--that mall, with the theater, was in the Michael J Fox movie, Back to the Future.  It's really sad, the mall is practically empty.  It used to have a Macy's, Sears (?), 24 Hour Fitness and other stores.  Now only a couple stores are left; mostly food.

Back to the movie, I won't spoil it, so I'm going to be rather vague.  IMO, you need to see it on the big screen.  LMH is so handsome and dashing.  The little boy is a total cutie.  AHS is ok; I read some criticism about his acting, but I thought he was fine.  The biggest surprise was Nana.  I knew nothing about her, but she was very good in the action scenes.  It totally caught me off-guard.  It's an open ended ending, so a sequel is definitely possible.

It's not my type of movie, but it was ok.  I wonder if I read the manhwa I would feel differently.

Carolyn's recommendation: watch it!

  1. I enjoyed the movie . LMH is effortlessly cool every second of his screen time is powerful and impactful … I am disappointed in his screen time and I only wish we had more of him… I expected it to be short but not this less !

  2. I'm glad that I read that he does not have much screen time. If I hadn't read that, I would have been very disappointed. Now my question is why does he keep coming back to life? What's so special about him? All the other character had a backstory except him.

  3. Thank you for sharing! I’m glad you got to watch it on the big screen. I saw some Korean tweets shared by Minoz, raving about LMH’s handsomeness! 😍I think LMH and Nana could have amazing chemistry if they worked together on another project. 👀 Also, LMH and CSB looked great next to each other.
